Barbados experienced its first hurricane in more than 60 years. Hurricane Elsa, which impacted Barbados as a category 1 hurricane, caused roofs to be blown off and trees to collapse. Some areas of the island experienced power and water outages.
Hurricane Elsa has also impacted the islands of Grenada and Hispaniola. The storm is expected to impact Cuba, Jamaica, and Florida.
