		</div><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Mega Yacht Allegedly collides with Tanker off the coast of the Bahamas</strong></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 21px;">A 160-foot tanker owned by Maritime Management was allegedly struck by superyacht, Utopia IV, on Christmas Eve in 2021 off Providence, Bahamas. Tropic Breeze, the Tanker&#8217;s name, was traveling to Great Stirrup Cay when it was allegedly rear-ended by the 207-foot superyacht.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 21px;">According to Maritime Management, the collision was so severe that the Tanker&#8217;s stern sank to the ocean floor at an estimated depth of 2,000 feet. Maritime Management indicated that the Tanker could not be safely salvaged. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 21px;">According to several reports, crew members of the Tanker were safely evacuated. The Bahamian Ministry of Transport and Housing is presently investigating the collision. </span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Barbados will have Snap election on January 19, 2022</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">Just weeks after Barbados became a republic, the country&#8217;s Prime Minister Mia Mottley called a snap general election for January 19, 2022. The snap election will occur more than one year before it&#8217;s constitutionally due.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">The newly formed republic&#8217;s Nomination Day for this election will be on January 3, 2022. This election comes three years and eight months into the Barbados Labour Party term.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">Since the election will occur during the pandemic, Mottley says some modifications will have to be made.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>COVID 19 continues to ravage Trinidad and Tobago</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">More than 600 people on the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago have died from the Covid-19 virus during the month of December 2021.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">Trinidad and Tobago&#8217;s Ministry of Health indicated that nearly 3,000 people have died from the virus since the inception of the pandemic.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">Trinidad and Tobago&#8217;s Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, asked that his country thinks of those who have lost loved ones to the Covid-19 virus. He said that &#8220;even as we do this, let us spare a moment of reflection to remember all those families and communities who have experienced the loss of loved ones along the way and for whom the pandemic is more than the daily news, but the source of the pain that they would continue to suffer.&#8221;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 21px;">Betty White, a notable actress who starred in TV shows such as &#8220;The Mary Tyler Moore Show&#8221; and &#8220;The Golden Girls,&#8221; died on Friday at her home in Los Angeles. She was 99. </span><span style="font-size: 21px;">Her death comes less than three weeks before her 100th birthday.</span></p>
